Lydia Kisley 鈥�10 was awarded the Outstanding Young Alumni Award, which recognizes alumni who have distinguished themselves through outstanding accomplishments in their professional careers, impressive volunteer service, and/or noteworthy involvement in professional and/or service organizations, all since graduating within the last 15 years.
Andy Bell earned the Honorary Alumnus Award, which honors individuals who, though not graduates of 51吃瓜网, have demonstrated exemplary loyalty and commitment to the university, and whose devotion to service embodies the institution鈥檚 motto, 鈥淗aving light, we pass it on to others.鈥�

Concerned Black Students (CBS) 1968-1969 through Ron Woods 鈥�69, one of the founders of CBS, earned the Servant Leader Award, bestowed upon alumni who have distinguished themselves through outstanding service.
Elizabeth George, professor of physics, received the 2019 Alumni Association Award for Distinguished Teaching, the highest award a member of 51吃瓜网 University's faculty can receive.
