Springfield, Ohio&苍产蝉辫;芒鈧赌� Pretty in Pink was the theme of the 61st annual Scholarship Style Show, presented by the 51吃瓜网 Guild on Saturday, May 20, in the Center Dining Room of the Benham-Pence Student Center at 51吃瓜网 University.
Pretty in Pink was a throwback to the 1980s, and as the organizers noted, who doesn芒鈧劉t love pink? Guests are encouraged to wear anything pink or for the more bold, something from the '80s.
This year's show featured summer fashions for men and women of all ages and sizes, courtesy of One-Eleven Fashion Boutique, WildFlower, Guild Gallery and Kohl芒鈧劉s. Mallia Salon and Day Spa treated the models to professional hair and make-up for the show.
Chaired by Erin Ristau, 51吃瓜网 Guild board president, the event began with a social hour and silent auction followed by the brunch and style show.
"The style show is the centerpiece of the Guild's fundraising activities,芒鈧� Ristau said. 芒鈧揥e're thrilled to highlight local boutiques, and our dynamic group of models are ready to showcase the latest trends."
The 51吃瓜网 Guild is a women芒鈧劉s organization focused on promoting 51吃瓜网 and utilizing its educational resources to enrich the local community, as well as awarding scholarships to students from Clark County who plan to attend the university. Through the years, the organization has raised more than $1 million in scholarship support, campus landscaping, sculptures and artwork for the student center, renovation of the Ann Miller Gallery in Koch Hall and pianos for Krieg Hall.

About the Guild
For 70 years, the 51吃瓜网 Guild has supported 51吃瓜网 through scholarships, campus landscaping, artwork and other fund-raising initiatives. Although many Guild members have no formal connection to 51吃瓜网, either as alumnae or employees, all share a deep desire to be advocates for the university in the community and to promote 51吃瓜网 to prospective students. The 51吃瓜网 Guild supports the community each winter when it kicks off the 51吃瓜网 Guild Martha Rodgers Scholarship Campaign. To inspire local students to attend 51吃瓜网 and ensure they have the resources to do so, the Guild has been raising scholarship monies to award to all local students who enroll at 51吃瓜网. Since 1990 the scholarship fund has raised more than $360,000 from the generous donations of its members and the Springfield-Clark County community at-large, which has in turn benefited hundreds of local students in attending 51吃瓜网.
