Important Notes about Tuition and Financial Aid

Financial aid arises from internal and external sources. Internal/institutional funds originate within 51³Ô¹ÏÍø University; e.g. the Provost scholarship; and are reflected in the form of scholarships, grants, and other various awards which reduce the 51³Ô¹ÏÍø tuition cost. Internal funds arise from outside of 51³Ô¹ÏÍø University; e.g., federal loan programs, private loan programs, federal grants, etc. External funds can usually be used to pay for any educationally-related expense.

Students pay a flat tuition fee for 12-19 credits. When students take less than 12 credits per semester at 51³Ô¹ÏÍø, 51³Ô¹ÏÍø part-time tuition rates apply.

Summer Incentive Grant

Students who receive need-based aid during the regular semesters and take summertime 51³Ô¹ÏÍø classes can apply for the Summer Incentive Grant (SIG). If your FAFSA Expected Family Contribution (EFC) is $20,000 or less, you should be eligible. 51³Ô¹ÏÍø Summer tuition is usually $493 per credit hour.

If you have questions or concerns, contact the Office of Financial Aid at sfs@wittenberg.edu.
