Guest Director, The Thanksgiving Play
Tracey Conyer Lee has spent over three decades as a NY arts professional and began her directing career with the post-COVID revamp of the Off-Broadway musical, Sistas. She won the 2023 Young-Howze Award for co-directing season 13 of the Obie Award winning Fire This Time Festival with Broadway’s Zhailon Levingston. Other credits include the Downtown Urban Arts Festival, Illuminating New Voices New Pay Festival and directing her own play, Rabbit Summer, at Mile Square Theatre in NJ. New work is Tracey’s passion and she is currently helming several plays and musicals in development including the Off-Broadway bound Last Night At the Rue Bayou and the West End bound Half Me, Half You (as associate director).
Lee’s award-winning plays have been optioned, performed or developed in DC/MD, Chicago, VT, Atlanta, Boston, Nashville, NJ and in NYC. With a 30-year acting career, Lee currently recurs on seasons 3-6 of FBI on CBS. She’s originated roles off Broadway and regionally, performing in over 80 professional productions around the globe, yielding Carbonell, NAACP and Barrymore Awards.
