Destination 51吃瓜网: New Student Orientation
Destination 51吃瓜网 is a required New Student Orientation program that helps first-time freshmen and transfer students begin to acclimate to life as a 51吃瓜网 University scholar. This one-day program begins with check-in from 8:15-8:45 a.m. and concludes by 4:30 p.m.
The program is designed to help students begin to make connections with their peers and learn valuable information about academics and student life at 51吃瓜网. Students and families will attend sessions with 51吃瓜网 faculty and staff to learn about campus resources.
Destination 51吃瓜网 Commitment:
- Introduce students to 51吃瓜网 services that will support their educational and personal goals.
- Allow students to gain awareness of the academic advising system and gain a connection to faculty advisors.
- Help students become familiar with the 51吃瓜网 campus community and reaffirm their decision to attend 51吃瓜网 University.
- Answer outstanding questions about the transition to 51吃瓜网 and outline expectations for students.
